Our chosen charity for 2019 is Macmillan Cancer Support. If you would like to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, information and assistance is below. Raising just £75 in sponsorship for the charity can help change the lives of millions of people affected by cancer.

If you need some help and ideas for fundraising click here.

To set up your own Just Giving Page, click here and then click on the orange button (Start Fundraising).

Macmillan are here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support.

Here are some quick wins to help raise your sponsorship:

      • Do a bottle draw on facebook or in your work place, 1 to 75 £1 a number.
      • Get as many of your friends, family and colleagues to fill a Smarties tube with £1 coins, £28 will fund a Macmillan Nurse for 1 hour.
      • Run a quiz, Macmillan have a readymade for you to use… £3 to enter and if 25 join in, that’s your sponsorship sorted!!

We recommend you wear a set of old clothes for the race and bring along a change of clothing for after the race as you will get muddy!

Gloves are not a necessity but they will help you round some of the course, especially over the hay bales!

Gaffer taping your trainers to your feet is highly recommended, unless you want to run half the course bare foot!
